I especially appreciate the reminder about “corrections”- the line-through-a-mistake move seems to also leave trace of the learning for the children & teachers to use as evidence of natural process.
How do others use some of these strategies while also maintaining awareness of the other parts of the classroom and children? I find engaging in this type of direct support is much more of a challenge for me during open classroom explorations (as opposed to small groups !)
Have others found their strategies shifting slightly based on whole group, small group, open exploration vs instruction ?
